This bookshelf was specifically designed to go in the new central library in Halifax. I choose the First Nations circle on the third floor, as the space is a large and cozy area for reading.

The wooden bookshelf would have two tiers; the upper tier faces inside the large circular seating area so patrons have a large selection of books at their fingertips, the lower tier would offer more selections as well as additional seating along the outside of the circle.
